West Epping Pre-School is a community preschool managed by a group of interested parents known as “The Management Committee”. Parents have the opportunity to be part of this team or help in other areas such as rosters and special events thus making a worthwhile contribution towards the direction of the preschool and their child’s early education. Our Pre-School is a non profit organisation and relies on Government subsidies and fees for financial support.

Due to Government funding guidelines priority of access is given to children that turn 4 years old by 31 July. The aim is to give children 1 year of preschool in the year prior to school entry.

West Epping Preschool fee structure in 2017 will be based upon the NSW Government new funding formula Start Strong.

The aim of Start Strong is to reduce fees for children whose attendance is 600 hours per year in their year before school. This means hours of preschool operation should be available to each child for 15 hours per child, per school term week.

The 3 day group satisfy the new funding formula as these children already attend 18 hours per week of which 15 hours are funded by the government. Attendance hours will remain at 9am -3pm.

Preschool terms will be those observed by the NSW Government Schools.
